Work Life Balance - it does exist!

It's been a while between blogs however after the last couple of weeks I think I may have found this so-called work-life balance.
 
Juggling work, study, home, renovations, time for lunch or a coffee now and again with friends and having some time out for myself to "re-group" it suddenly occurred to me that this is what it means to have that "balance". By the end of that week, I didn't feel tired or worn out and I still manged to have some "me" time. The key: time management. Seems such a simple thing in hindsight.
 
Knowing how to get the balance right is all about time management. I'm great at doing that in the workplace so applying those same principles to my own life made perfect sense.
 
Here are some other tips to incorporate with the above to help in getting that balance:
 
1) Build some downtime into your schedule - spend some time with family, friends or just have that "me" time to relax and unwind
2) Drop those time wasting activities that drain you of your time and energy
3) Rethink your errands and perhaps delegate some tasks to others if you can
4) Build in some "me" time to exercise. Even getting in a 15 minute walk for some fresh air can do wonders.
